This former Raffles Girls' Secondary student came into the limelight last year when she defeated a world class field to win gold and set a new record in the 10m Air Rifle event at the Commonwealth Shooting Federation Championships in Melbourne. She also clinched a silver in the same meet and a bronze at the 2005 SEA Games in Philippines.
Building on a solid year, she has started 2006 on a high note with a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne – a feat which has established her as a rising star in Singapore shooting.
Now studying at LaSalle-SIA College of the Arts to pursue her interest in fashion design and advertising, she hopes to score well in both her sport and her artistic endeavors.
